Hello and Welcome Back:

I hope that you and your family had a fun and restful summer. My name is Milene Loyola, and I am the Guidance Counselor at Crestview Elementary. This year is going to be fun, filled with learning, growing and lots of new adventures. I cannot wait to get to know you, your family and most importantly your child.

First, I would like to take a moment to tell you a few things about me. I am originally from Peru. I attended Montclair State University and I graduated in 2002 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Later, I continued with my education at New York University, where I obtained my Master’s Degree in Bilingual School Counseling.

I have been part of the Crestview family since 2011. I have been in different grade levels, including Special Education. I have had great experiences working with different teams and learning from each one of them.

This is my second year as a counselor. I consider myself to be very lucky to have the opportunity to pursue my passion in a school that I consider my second home.
