Assistant Principal

Melissa Martinez

My name is Melissa Martinez.  I am the Assistant Principal for Crestview Elementary School.  I have been in the education field for 28 years and in Judson ISD for the past 15 years.

Prior to moving to San Antonio, I lived in the Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, Texas, where I graduated from the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV).  I've had several teaching assignments that included elementary, middle school and high school positions in the Rio Grande Valley. 

I also have an instructional technology background and have enjoyed supporting hundreds of teachers in our Judson school district as an Instructional Technology Specialist for several years.   Having a desire to grow my leadership skills, I earned a master's degree from Lamar University and accepted the roles of Academic Coach and then Assistant Principal.  

I spend my free time with my husband, and adult children, and enjoy volunteering in my community.
